10 Cars That Are Just As Great In The Snow As They Are On Pavement!

If you are a car lover, you probably enjoy showing your car off during all months of the year. For those who live in areas that experience colder temperatures, this can be a bit of a problem! Many individuals believe that if you live in a snowy area, you should look for a truck or SUV to fulfill your transportation needs. However, that is just not the case! These ten vehicles are just as great in the snow as they are on dry pavement!

  1. Subaru Outback
  2. Volvo XC70 TC AWD
  3. Audi Allroad
  4. Toyota Sienna
  5. BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo
  6. Mini Countryman
  7. Subaru Impreza
  8. Mercedes Benz E-Class
  9. Acura TL
  10. Lexus GS

Just be sure to be equipped with a windshield scraper! There is nothing worse than running a bit late to work, only to find out that your windshield is covered in ice! If you are prepared with a snow scraper, you will avoid having to go back inside to retrieve it, tracking in snow behind you.

An additional way to be prepared for the unforeseeable is to make sure that you have a comprehensive auto insurance policy! You are required by law to have some form of insurance. However, it is up to you to make sure that the coverage is what you need! Having too much coverage will lead to unnecessarily high monthly payments. Too little of insurance will set you up for potential financial disaster!

Assume the responsibility for your future, and call one of the agents at All Nevada Insurance, today! We are a full licensed insurance agency, and take pride in our superb customer service. We will work to find you a policy that is comprehensive, but does not require you to sacrifice your budget!

Some collections can total thousands of dollars, or more! You should do all you can to make sure your hard work, and money is protected. • Get in touch with a trusted insurance representative. If you are not sure where to find one, speak with your friends and family about their pleasant insurance experiences, or contact the All Nevada Insurance website.

Fool-Proof Fire Prevention Tips!

When you buy a home, you are making one of the biggest investments of your life. There are many threats to your home that can never really be controlled. A few examples are natural disasters like floods, mudslides, and forest fires. However, you can control the way you prepare for these occurrences! Better preparation means less panic, and stress. Here are a few recommendations to ensure you and your family would be ready to handle a fire in your home:

  • Have a discussion with your family to make sure that all members are aware of how to get out of the house. They should know how to open all the windows quickly, and be aware of your designated meeting spot. The meeting spot is a safe area where you and your family members would reconvene after escaping a fire.
  • Install smoke detectors in every room of your home, and make sure that the batteries are working properly. You should also do monthly battery checks.
  • Place fire extinguishers throughout your home, and ensure that everyone knows where to find them. Teach your children how to remove the pin, and expel the fire retardant.
  • Consider installing a central alarm system that will alert you of fires, break-ins, and more.
  • Make sure that you have the right form of insurance, and that you are covered for an amount that is appropriate for the home you are living in. If you have too much coverage, you are wasting money on your insurance expenses each month. If you have too little of coverage, you are exposing yourself to dangerous financial risks that you should do your best to steer clear of.

Homeowners Insurance and HOAs

Homeowners associations, or HOAs, are not only for condos and apartments. Many single-family homes are also part of a HOA. Living in a house with an HOA comes with many perks, such as knowing that your yard and the community pool will always be well maintained. If you live in a home with an HOA, it’s important to know how to handle your homeowners insurance policy.

When you join an HOA, make sure that you know exactly what their Master policy covers. If you live in a detached home that is part of an HOA, their insurance policy will most likely cover all of the community amenities, such as gates and any recreational facilities. It’s also important to make sure that you know how much coverage the Master policy provides.

Even though you’re part of an HOA it doesn’t mean that you don’t have to purchase your own homeowners insurance policy. Just as if you weren’t part of an HOA, you would still need to invest in a policy that would provide enough coverage for all of your assets if they were destroyed or damaged. It’s important to make sure that your individual policy provides enough coverage so that there’s no gap between the HOA policy and your policy.

It’s even more important to make sure that your individual homeowners insurance policy has enough liability coverage when you’re part of an HOA. Since homes in an HOA are typically closer together, a fire or water leak that starts at your home can easily spread and cause serious damage to other homes.

Contact the insurance professionals at All Nevada Insurance in Las Vegas for all of your homeowners insurance needs. We will work with you and your HOA to ensure you have the right amount of coverage for your specific situation.

Not Investing in Insurance Could End up Costing You

Investing in the right insurance policies is the only way to ensure that you and your assets are protected incase of any disaster, even though it may be pricey. Many people wrongly believe that they can save money by skipping out on insurance coverage in their life. However, not investing in the right insurance policies can actually end up being much more expensive in the long run. Here are some of the reasons not investing in insurance can be devastating:

  • In case of a catastrophic loss. While experiencing a catastrophic loss is uncommon, it doesn’t mean that it’ll never happen. Even if you’re independently wealthy, you can be financially devastated in the case of a catastrophic loss. Instead of opting out of insurance policies, raise the deductibles if you’re looking for ways to save money.
  • For future insurability. When you’re looking for a new insurance policy, no matter what the policy is, most insurance companies will ask how long you’ve been continuously insured. If you can’t prove that you’ve been continuously insured for a number of years, you may be considered a risk, and some insurance companies may not want to insure you.
  • Potential for liability claims. Even if you choose not to invest in an insurance policy because you don’t think that you’re at risk for an accident, you should always consider the possibility of a liability claim. If someone is injured at your home and sues you, the liability portion of the policy would provide protection. Without liability insurance, you and your assets would be left vulnerable in the lawsuit.

We Loved Volunteering at the 5K & 1 Mile Race for a Superhero!

We just got done sponsoring the 24th Annual 5K & 1 Mile Race for a Superhero, and loved every minute of it! The event took place on September 13th and helped to raise funds for Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada. We have enjoyed sponsoring the event for the past few years, and love being able to watch the event grow each year!

The race was hosted by Chet Bucanan, and was tons of fun! Almost everyone came out and dressed up as their favorite superhero to help support the Candlelighters Kids and families. We cannot wait for next year’s event to help this great cause even more!

The Candlelighters foundation was started to help support children who’ve been diagnosed with cancer. They focus on helping children from birth to 21 years of age who are living or being treated in Nevada. The Foundation was founded by two families who had children that were being treated for cancer. The hope of the foundation is to help families in these situations find strength, comfort, and knowledge by coming together in a time of need.

What started with a dedicated group of volunteers has grown into a strong force of full-time employees who help 100 families each month, and as much as 600 families throughout the year. There is no fee or membership that is required to receive comfort and help from the Candlelighters. All families in the area who are dealing with childhood cancer are eligible for the services that they offer.

For more information about the race, or to learn about how you can donate to this great cause, contact All Nevada Insurance.
